Ana-Maria Chaves
Ana-Maria Chaves is a Portuguese literary translator and translation reviewer, and a retired lecturer of English and Translation from the U. of Minho. She has translated, among many others, novels by D.H.Lawrence, T.Hardy, J.Conrad, W.S.Maugham, D.Lodge, W. Faulkner; essays by V.Woolf; ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’ by R.Browning, and a collection of poems by the Brontë Sisters. She lives in Oporto.
