Rosana Herrero-Martín
Rosana Herrero-Martin (Burgos, Spain, 1976 - ) holds a European Doctorate on Language Performativity and Irish Theatre from the University of Salamanca. MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama, University College Dublin. She is the author of the book, The Doing of Telling on the Irish Stage: A Study of Language Performativity in Modern and Contemporary Irish Theatre (Peter Lang, 2008). She is currently Spanish Senior Lecturer at Antigua State College and University of the West Indies on the Caribbean island of Antigua. She is an active literary translator and interpreter. Her research interests converge at the intersection of the following coordinates: theatre and performative studies; comparative and postcolonial literature; Hispanic Caribbean and Indo-Caribbean theatre; Cuban ritual and religious performativity; Irish literature and theatre, as well as second-language teaching and didactic material design.
