Martin Světlík

Martin Světlík (*1990) is an MA student of Irish Studies at the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures, Charles University in Prague. His BA thesis dealt with the Irish dramatist Denis Johnston. In his current research, he focuses on modern poetry in Irish. He translates both from English and Irish. Several of his translations from Irish (Cathal Buí Mac Giolla Ghunna, Brian Merriman) have been published in Czech literary periodicals.
