Elizabetta Maria Salis
Maria Elisabetta Salis was born in 1992 in Milan, but moved shortly afterwards to Sardinia with her family, and so she grew up in Sassari, the city where she still lives and studies. As a child, she loved Greek myths and years later she decided to further her study of the classics at the Liceo Classico “Canopoleno”. She completed her diploma in 2011 and tired of what seemed to be dead languages, she opted for Foreign Languages at the University of Sassari. She got her first class Honour Degree in October 2014 – her dissertation was on Evelyn Sharp’s experimental reworking of the fairy tale. At present, She is attending a Masters Degree Course in Language and Literary Studies at the Università di Sassari. She studies English and Russian, and she learned French in the past as well as Japanese, a language that she studied for two years, reaching level N4, and which she always looks forward to go back to.
