Geraldina Colombo
Geraldina Colombo (Milan, 1982) holds a Ph.D. in English Literature earned in 2014 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, under the supervision of Professor Enrico Reggiani. Her Ph.D. thesis, titled “ ‘Parts constitute a whole’. Chamber Music (1907) fucina del magnum opus joyciano” (“ ‘Parts constitute a whole’ Chamber Music (1907) as the smithy of the Joycean magnum opus”), investigated how Joyce’s first published work, Chamber Music, was central in defining the themes and styles developed throughout Joyce’s later production. At present, her research and study interests mainly concern the Irish literature field (Yeats, Joyce and the 1890s) and Catholic Victorian authors.
