Daniel Becker

Daniel Becker, born 04 April 1987, studied English and History at the University of Koblenz-Landau, where he was trained to become a teacher for secondary schools. After obtaining his teacher’s certificate in 2013, he enrolled as a PhD-Student of English Literature at the University of Wuppertal, Germany, where he currently works as a research and teaching assistant. His dissertation is entitled “Outside History: Reflecting the Past in Contemporary Irish Poetry”. His research interests include history and literature; genre theory; Romantic poetry and culture; narratology and Post-War British Drama.
